Help us educate our future Citizens of the World!
California ranks near the bottom in terms of per pupil funding, averaging just $4700/pupil for elementary school students ($7,500 when supplemented by all state and federal funding). In exchange for greater autonomy, charter schools such as CWC receive less funding than traditional public schools.
Our educational model includes a 22:1 average student-to-teacher ratio with a Teaching Assistant in every class. We offer music, art, and physical education multiple times a week; an affordable, healthy school lunch program; and after school programs until 6pm every day, all of this made possible thanks to donations made by parents and the community. Above and beyond our state funding, CWC needs on average $2500 in donations per student — but please give more if you can. Every dollar truly makes a difference no matter what amount works for you and your family.
Your donation directly supports CWC Silver Lake/Echo Park.
